Main course: Mopsy's Kalua Pork/Daily special $23.25

Creekbread is known for doing pizza, and their dough is made fresh daily from 100% organic Canadian wheat. I couldn't make up my mind about choosing only one option, so I did half and half, which added around $6 bucks to the pizza (it is not cheap). Their daily special was a simple tomato base topped with basil, Creekbread's blend of herbs, pecorino and broccocini - kind of like an elevated version of margarita. The Mopsy's Kalue Pie's side had hardwood smoked pork shoulder, red onions, fresh pineapples, goat cheese, mozzarella, pecorino, and the herb blend, all on top of a housemade mango BBQ sauce. The dough itself was quite crispy, but not chewy enough in my opinion. I liked how thin it was, like traditional Italian pizza. I also loved how simple but flavourful the daily special was. The tomato sauce didn't overpower the beautiful cheese on top. The mango sauce was fun to eat, and the sweetness paired very nicely with the pork and the three different kinds of cheeses. 8/10
Dessert: Brownie sundae $8.00

On the menu the brownie was supposed to be warm but it was served chilled. The cold brownie was still delicious, but I was a bit disappointed because I was looking forward to a warm brownie to complement the two generous scoops of vanilla ice cream. Regardless, it had a nice crunchy exterior, and was sinfully rich, decadent and fudgy. As someone with a huge sweet tooth, this was the perfect sweetness for me, but others may find it a tad too much. The whipped cream (which was said to be sweetened with pure Canadian maple syrup, but I could not really taste it) on the side looked a little sad for two large pieces of brownie, but the ice cream made up for it, along with the housemade chocolate sauce drizzled on top. 6.5/10

I for one really like pizza, but have always been basic. But now I wanna try kalua pork on pizza
I'll need to try the Mopsy's Kalua Pork flavour next time I'm up at Whistler
