Hi there, I'm Elaine!

 

Welcome to my backyard! I am so lucky to call British Columbia my home. There is no shortage of nature here, with lush green forests, sprawling landscapes of wildflowers in the summer, and magnificent mountains and glaciers. I discovered hiking when I moved here three years ago, since then, have always wanted to create a blog as a way of documenting my hiking adventures.

 

I am hoping this site can be a place of insight and tips for anyone out there looking for trail information. Reading reviews on apps like Vancouver Trails and AllTrails really helps me out, so I want to pay it forward.

 

I work in the film industry which is not a typical 9-5 job, so whenever I'm not preoccupied with film work, you can find me wandering in the mountains, exploring the world, or holed up at home engrossed in a book (or writing this blog).
